my thoughts:

AMSTERDAM
-those sunflowers are crazy. it looks like something i'd find on some cheesy comedy show. like hee-haw.

GRONINGEN
-stolen bikes, huh? did "peewee's big adventure" impact these people or something?
-is that pie in the vending machine? and are those hamburgers? ooh, and cake?

BRUSSELS
-are those mussels covered in delicious cheeses? and if i was from brussels, would anybody call me "the mussels from brussels"?
-cardboard cans of apple juice? mmm...
-haha, "mannekin pis"! hilarious
-what are those wacky things on "heading to charleroi"? are they belgian cartoon characters? and how are belgian cartoons anyway?

VENICE
-fish!
-crab! i like crabs, but not to eat. i like them in living, "i'll pinch you if you piss me off" form.
-tangerines! i'd love me some tangerine juice right now. or tangerine kool-aid at least.
-i've never had octopus before, but it looks yummy in that picture. like crabs, i also like octopus in it's living, "i'll spray you if you piss me off" form.
-venice must suck if it floods...
-you going to finish that sandwich?
-i like st. mark's basilica. now that i think about it, i like a lot of basilicas.
-*SIGH*
-hsss! veggies bad!

FLORENCE (henderson)
-haha! rabid smurfs bite each other on the butt!
-is the toilet inside the shower? the hell??
-i want one of those statues.
-gnocchi looks like macaroni and cheese. i like macaroni and cheese
-...and that stuff in the next picture looks good too.
-duomo looks cool.
-any way i can get those "doors of paradise" installed in my bedroom?
-hungry as i am right now, i think i'll pass on the tripe-wich...

ROME
-more of that tasty looking gnocchi.
-that the coolest ball i've ever seen. they didn't sell replicas of that thing in the gift shop, did they?
-the mummy looks like its napping.
-remind me to buy some undies for the statues if i ever go to rome.
-wait, those don't look like maps...
-ooh, the pieta!
-i think bernini's dove would make for a nice clock.
-i'm digging these shots of domes.
-the jubilee door, eh? is there some sort of ride they're making behind those doors? that would be cool if there was.
-yes! the colloseum!
-bite his hand off! sorry, shawn...
-ooh, and the pantheon! you know even those that picture is a little dark, i think it looks really cool. kinda menacing, but still really really cool.
-lamb and potatoes. man, i need some food. now.
-even the tripe is starting to look good. i'd probably eat it too if i didn't know what it was.
-so why are they the spanish steps if they're in rome?

AMSTERDAM: the revenge!
-i like mirror pictures, whether or not i can see the photographer.
-i don't know what kind of food that was, but i bet it was good...
-no! save the bears! those poor bears! heh, but the one on the toilet is funny. and so is the one to the right of it.

Amsterdam - The sunflowers were at Madame Tussaud's so the makers were rather bizarre to begin with.

Groningen - Stolen bikes: My friend Aree, who I visted there is the resident expert on that. Hopefully he'll post a comment about our experience :) Vending machine: It has deep fried cheese, deep fried riceballs, deep fried meat stuff but no deep fried twinkie :(

Venice - It flooded while we were there but I think we slept through it.

Florence - Did I not say that was the world's smallest shower? You shower on top of the toilet.

Rome - I still don't know what that ball is. If anybody else does, feel free to clue me in. The jubilee doors were cemented shut in 2000 as the pope tried to get the world governments to lessen world debt..it won't be open till the next jubilee year of 2025. The Spanish steps were once the home of the Spanish embassy...but really all I care about is Audrey Hepburn and her gelato.

Amsterdam again - If you like mirror pictures check out the one I have on the Mirror Project (http://www.mirrorproject.com/search/results/?term=aninda).

"Vending machine: It has deep fried cheese, deep fried riceballs, deep fried meat stuff but no deep fried twinkie :("

wow, why don't they just deep fry the machine while they're at it?

i dont think they are stolen bikes. the pink ones that all look the same? i think those are community bikes. the point is to steal one and leave it unlocked so that someone else can steal it later. amsterdam is famous for its community bike program. i hope they are still doing that.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply that those bikes in particular were stolen. Those actually belong to a hotel. I'm just saying that in Groningen stolen bikes are really big as Aree got approached to buy one. I stopped him from buying one and I think I will never live it down :) But you know non community stolen bikes are just bad karma.
